Summer Jazz Camps 2021 [registration closed]

All camps will be hosted at Boxley's Studios & Jazz Club in North Bend. These will be a group session with a maximum of 5-7 students per session to allow for physical distancing. This will be a large room, professional studio recording environment. We will NOT be using bell covers or masks while playing, however your instructor and support staff will be fully vaccinated.
We have different scheduling options to accommodate busy summer schedules, and we may add more time slots if we receive additional requests beyond capacity.
● Standards A - Saturdays: 7/10, 17th, 31 and 8/7 1pm to 5pm
● Standards B - Mondays: 7/12, 19th, 8/2 and 8/9 8am to Noon
● Bebop A - Saturdays: 7/10, 17, 31 and 8/7 8am to Noon
● Bebop B - Mondays: 7/12, 19, 8/2 and 8/9 1pm to 5pm
● Piano Jazz Studio - Schedule is TBD
Prework: One week prior to camp you will receive listening assignments, and a theory packet to review prior to your camp.
We will be recording, listening, practicing, writing and improving as a group.
There will be assignments and suggested practice routines to work on in between Saturday sessions. We will work towards a Recital Performance, recording, livestream and opening sessions. Plus scheduling gigs in the fall, foundation groups for Future Jazz Heads
