Get started at the Jazz Walk with our local High School bands. Mount Si Jazz students are hard-working and dedicated, and their program has been recognized at numerous festivals including Essentially Ellington and Hot Java Cool Jazz.
The Bellevue High School Jazz Ensemble I has recently won multiple festivals and is under the direction of Edd George. A dynamic and high-caliber student band.
Greta Matassa is one of the most respected jazz vocalists in the Pacific Northwest, known for her versatility, emotion, and educational work. Her band features top-tier local talent.
Local legend Danny Kolke on piano leads a trio featuring bassist Chris Symer and drummer Max Holmberg for a night of hard swinging, bop-inspired jazz.
Kelley Johnson's poetic vocal phrasing pairs with Bill Anschell's lyrical piano mastery for a compelling duo performance at Hartwood Cafe.
Vocalist and trumpeter Jake Bergevin performs with his trio, drawing on a wide range of jazz styles and educational experience in the Pacific Northwest.
